You’ve tried pain medication. You’ve been massaged, adjusted and poked with needles. Perhaps you’ve gotten some temporary relief, but the problem keeps coming back.
Have you considered that your symptoms may be the result of years of faulty postural and movement habits negatively impacting your body?

Chronic pain, muscular tension, stress, lack of mobility, breathing difficulties, loss of coordination and balance, circulation problems, and low energy are among the many symptoms of your body working against it’s inherent natural design, jeopardizing your proper functioning and overall well-being.

The Alexander Technique is a method of re-education that helps you address harmful habits and teaches you the skills and awareness needed to make lasting changes. You can improve how you feel, and prevent further injuries. Discover a powerful, long-term solution to living pain-free.

I give lessons to individuals, groups, and lead workshops in New York City, where I live, and in Madison, NJ where I maintain a secondary office location. Throughout the year, I travel to New Mexico for extended stays and will be available for private lessons, groups and workshops in Albuquerque, Santa Fe and Las Cruces. For my travel plans to New Mexico, please contact me.

On Wednesday August 6, Michael leads a two-hour workshop on the Alexander Technique at  Friends In Deed.

The Alexander Technique -- Living Pain Free

Have you considered that your symptoms of chronic pain, muscle tension and stress may be caused by the way in which you use your body in daily activity?

The Alexander Technique is an educational method that teaches you the skills necessary to recognize and change harmful habits of movement and posture that interfere with the body's proper functioning and overall health and well-being.

In this workshop, you will explore the Alexander principles and discover how to apply these common-sense concepts to basic, everyday movements. By getting the mind and body to work together as one, you will learn to unravel tension, improve posture, solve movement problems, reduce stress, relieve pain and discomfort, and prevent injury.
